ABOUT
Hey, my name’s Jeff. I’m a drummer and teacher based in Nashville, Tennessee. I toured for years with American Idol winner Phillip Phillips and the chart-topping country duo Love & Theft. Before that I made a living grinding it out doing the local gig thing. Bars, clubs, churches, weddings, someone’s backyard, ext. You name it, I’ve probably played it. More recently I’ve shifted focus to what I guess you would call “online music education”. Basically, I create drum enthusiast content on YouTube and all of the other social media platforms and offer one-on-one online lessons as well. It’s nice being off the road, at least for now.
LESSONS
As one of my students likes to say… “Trying to learn how to play the drums online is like trying to drink from a fire hose”. There’s just too much information out there and it becomes hard to know where to start. If that sounds like you, then I encourage you to give me a shout. I have a passion for teaching and my #1 goal is to assess where you are as a player and give you a road map to follow that’ll get you where you want to go.

These transcriptions are interactive and allow you to hear the example, change the tempo, and work at your own pace. So even if you aren’t the best at reading music, you’ll be able to understand these transcriptions.
